Meet the Team


John Sieggreen, PresidentJohn worked for more than 20 years with Wolohan Lumber Co. (Michigan), a publicly traded chain of home centers and pro-focused lumber yards. There, he spent time in various executive roles, including Vice President-Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and President; he also served on the company’s board of directors. John also spent three years with BMC West, first leading the company’s Mergers & Acquisitions activity and later, serving as the company’s General Merchandise Manager. John also worked for Procter & Gamble early in his professional career. John has an undergraduate degree from Marquette University, an MBA in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and a Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University. He is a licensed attorney in the state of Michigan. Email John


David Mills, CFO – David has been in retail and systems for 22 years, has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a CPA Certificate (inactive). David began his professional career with 11 years at Bruno’s Supermarkets where he first worked in store management, then worked as a buyer in purchasing, before working in finance and accounting. This rare experience gives David keen insight in Operations and Purchasing beyond most accountants. He worked 4 years at Marvin’s as Controller then CFO then spent 5 years as a business consultant for MI9 Business Solutions. At MI9 he served as a primary project manager on site for three large customers during their implementation of the MI9 Software Systems. These customers included Bare Escentuals Cosmetics, Barneys New York and Tuesday Morning. Email David


Jeremy Owen, VP Supply Chain – Jeremy has been in retail for over 25 years starting out in professional sports merchandising where he spent 13 years with the NBA’s Seattle Supersonics as their Director of Merchandising. There he handled purchasing, inventory management, retail operations, marketing, and web sales. In 2008 Jeremy and his team were awarded the NBA’s “Team Retailer of The Year” award. Following the NBA’s departure to Oklahoma City in 2008 , Jeremy began working for Gameday Merchandising out of Denver, CO. where he was responsible for the merchandising of 5 professional sports teams (OKC Thunder, Charlotte Bobcats, Florida Panthers, Atlanta Dream, & Seattle Storm). In 2010 he helped setup and manage the Vancouver Winter Olympics and Paralympic event merchandise sites. In 2013 he joined McLendon Hardware as their Director of Purchasing and was tasked with improving the overall inventory performance across the brand. Email Jeremy


Scott Wright, VP Information Technology – Scott has worked in IT for more than 30 years. He began his career in systems and application support with CCSI, a company supporting business systems across the southeast. Here he got a foundation in customer service and support, including disaster recovery. Scott got experience in the manufacturing sector at Stockham Valves, first in application development and support, then in Systems administration and network support. He enhanced his networking experience at BellSouth as a member of the tier 3 team managing and supporting LAN infrastructure across the 9 state region. Scott entered the retail sector working for Marvin’s Building Materials. During more than 20 years with Marvin’s, Scott held several IT management roles, including 5 years as IT Director. Vince Plets, Senior VP of OperationsMcLendon Hardware, Outdoor Supply Hardware, Parkrose Hardware. Vince has been in retail hardware and building materials for 36 years starting with Erb Lumber in Michigan, which later became a part of Stock Building Supply. He has held several roles in leadership including store management, Market Area Manager, and Director of Business Process. He also worked for Ace Hardware for 8 years as a District Manager in Indiana and Michigan, Regional Manager in the Pacific Northwest, and Director of Operations for the western United States. He has lead support teams specializing in business consultative roles, new market growth, training, projects and more. He has a degree in Business Management from Macomb College as well as Advanced Business Leadership from Darden School of Business - University of Virginia.

Raymond White, Senior VP of Operations Buck's Bargain Center, Home Hardware Center, Mac's, Morrison Terrebonne

Robert Williams, Senior VP of OperationsElliott's, Habersham, Harvey, Hiawassee, LumberJack, Marvin's, Moore's, Taylor Foster, Town & Country Hardware. Robert has 25 years of experience in retail. His career begain at Chase-Pitkin Home & Garden (previously owned by Wegmans Food Markets) where he held various operations roles for 10 years. In 2006, Robert joined Tractor Supply Company and served many of the company's markets in a multi-leadership role. He also spent two years in advisory role for the company. Following Roberts departure from Tractor Supply, he began work for Rural King Supply Company and continued to serve in a multi-leadership capacity for them. In his years of professional experience, he has managed retail operations, merchandising, hiring & development of winning teams, process improvement, and execution. Robert received his Associates Degree in Business from Cazenovia College and later finished his studies with Temple University.
