Natchez, Mississippi – Central Network Retail Group, LLC is proud to announce the addition of Habersham Hardware and Home Center to its portfolio of brands. The transaction is expected to close on December 28. Habersham Hardware operates two stores in north Georgia at 232 Larkin Street, Cornelia, Georgia, and 5926 Highway 115, Clarkesville, Georgia. The stores sell a full assortment of hardware, plumbing, appliances, tools, paint, lumber, and building supplies.
“We are excited about the addition of the Habersham Hardware and Home Center to our company,” said Jimmy R. Smith, chairman of CNRG. “Habersham will serve as a foundation for us to grow a new district in Georgia.”
Boyden Moore, president of CNRG, added, “It is an honor to work with Mr. (Paul) Reeves who started Habersham Hardware in 1946. We are also proud to announce that Brentt Cody, Mr. Reeves’ grandson, will serve as District Manager for CNRG’s new Georgia district. We are excited about this step forward in our growth and look forward to more to come.”
Reeves commented, “After nearly 67 years in the hardware business in northeast Georgia, it gives me a great deal of pleasure to announce our new association with Central Network Retail Group. I believe that they will carry on our tradition of dedication to our customers and community.
