Natchez, MS – Central Network Retail Group, LLC (“CNRG”) is proud to announce the addition of Hiawassee Hardware of Hiawassee, Georgia to its portfolio of stores. The transaction was completed today. Hiawassee Hardware was founded in 1947 by H. Dan Paris, Sr. and has served the community’s hardware and lumber needs for the past 67 years. Dan’s son, H. Dan Paris, Jr. has worked in the business with his father since 1980 and took over full responsibility for the business when his father died in 2011. The store sells a full assortment of lumber, hardware, plumbing, electrical, tools, paint and lawn and garden supplies serving both DIY and Pro customers. CNRG is converting the store from Ace to Orgill, introducing some new categories of product, working to improve assortments and merchandising, and implementing new computer systems.
“We are excited about the addition of Hiawassee Hardware to our team in Georgia,” said Jimmy R. Smith, chairman of CNRG. “With this acquisition we now operate five stores in Georgia.” Boyden Moore, president of CNRG, added, “Hiawassee Hardware is a great fit with our strategy at CNRG.
